FAQ's
Why do I need a Personal Trainer?
People often set out to make a change to their body and fail to see any changes at all. They lack the knowledge and experience to make their body change. Hiring a personal trainer will educate them in the areas that are important like exercise, cardiovascular, proper eating, etc..
When will I see results?
This varies from person to person. There are three different types of body types to consider. Usually the leaner the person the quicker they see results. The heavier they are the slower the changes come. You have to remember you change from the inside out not outside in. The closer to your goal the slower the changes happen. Fast loss is fast gains and slow loss is slow gains. This is something to consider when taking weight off in a fast manner and is usually not recommended.
Why haven’t I lost any weight?
Sometimes the scale will not move because you are putting muscle and losing fat. That is why I use body compositions and circumference measurements every month to chart progress. With the formula we use I can show you exactly what has changed in your body by showing you fat in pounds and muscle in pounds.
How much do you charge?
Right now I offer two types of training. One is a monthly training fee of $ 200.00 to $350.00 per month depending on the number days in which you train. On this program I will design your workout and cardio program and counsel you on your diet. The other is a minimum of 90 days and is $ 420.00 a month with the complete program consisting of individualized training program, cardiovascular program, meal plans custom designed over a 7 day period. Remember 80% of all results begin with the diet.
I’ve been shopping personal training prices and you are expensive?
When you bargain shop beware of what you get for a cheap price. The bigger gyms discount their services the more you buy. Remember they only care about your monthly membership and not the personal training you are looking for. Many if not most of their personal trainers are not certified or even educated in the field that you are paying a discounted price for. Therefor whatever sport they played in highschool or college that is what you get. If your goal is to play a sport then you picked the right place, but most people have different goals in mind when looking for a trainer.
Why cant I just do cardio to take the weight off?
By performing cardio only workouts you lose muscle and fat. When you lose muscle you are slowing your metabolism down. Remember if you lost 10 pounds you may have lost 5 of fat and five of muscle. When you stopped cardio you gained the 10 pounds back and even more because you lost muscle also with the weight loss.
